Brighton Workshop Four - positioning figures

The second session from Rolf Scroeter focussed using your eye level to position figures in a scene. 'Post-it' notes, which we drew people on, were used to help the group understand the principles.

The third session of the Brighton Workshop was with Swasky and concentrated on outline shapes of people using a brush pen.

Looking back at the second workshop on the first day of the recent Urban Sketchers event in Brighton run by Isabel Carmona and focussing on using watercolour brush strokes to draw figures.

  

In the hood

 Had a chance to draw a street artist at work in Penge yesterday.

Difficult as the painting is very physical and they are up and down their ladder.

Managed a quick sketch of the artist @illuzina when she took a rest to check her 'phone.

So Last Century June Vintage Fair

Went along to the 'So Last Century' vintage fair today to do some sketching.  Lots of rails of clothes and hats.
Music was vintage too, with 78 records on wind up gramophones! Also some fold-up garden chairs and garden pots which looked lovely planted with cottage garden flowers.
