Attempting a 'Google Doodle'

I've been doing lots of drawings over the past couple of months of the Croydon Saffron Central project, including a little animated drawing so thought I'd have a go at doing at 'Google Doodle'.

British Summer Time

The clocks went forward at the weekend for the start of British Summer Time, so today it snowed in London!

lighting at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon

Whilst looking at the drawing I made in the foyer of the Fairfield Hall, Croydon a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that it might join together with a previous drawing.
Although they don’t quite fit together, I’ve made them into a panorama picture and attempted an animation to show the lighting effects which change colour on the ceiling.

Mistaken identity?

I went to draw the statue of the winged love god Eros in Piccadilly Circus yesterday.  Or so I thought.  There is a rumour that the statue is actually of Eros’ twin brother, Anteros.
The figure was sculpted in aluminium by Alfred Gilbert around 1892-3.
