London Urban Sketchers exhibit at Timberyard Covent Garden

           
                   

A short video taken last night at the Private View of the exhibition by London Urban Sketchers in Covent Garden.  I made it on my 'phone so the quality isn't brilliant but hopefully it gives an idea of the venue and a glimpse of some of the work.  The artists exhibiting are;

1. Balasana (Child’s pose)

There are big changes afoot in the centre of Croydon as the main shopping centre will be redeveloped over the coming years.  I thought it would be a good personal project for this year to try and work my round the area making sketches before the bulldozers move in.

Timberyard Exhibition

The London Urban Sketchers are exhibiting work at a new café/workspace in Covent Garden, London.  James Hobbs asked me if I would like to show some work with them, so I’ve got several of my sketchbooks on display.  The show will be up until March – please pop by and take a look if you are in the area!

Quick on the draw

I'm always looking for new people and places to draw, so when Hilary from Fit Perfect emailed me with an invitation to come along and sketch at a fitness Open Evening, I was keen to go along.  Sketching people is always challenging and when they are moving as quick as the wonderfully fit instructors it becomes especially so!
