A cafe - in the arcade - things have changed since I lived there back in the late 80's! Are there still fishmongers, West Indian food stalls and the Wazobia african wig shop? I hope you can still hear reggae wherever you go in the market. I understand Federation cafe is run by some 'flat white' peddling kiwis.
Yes, still a fishmongers, lots of colourful fruit & veg and a wig shop just outside the arcade - although I'm not sure if it is the one you remember. But also little trendy cafes, a gelato shop and a tiny gallery. I had an lovely anzac biscuit with my coffee so I think you are right about the owners!
Pleased to hear it still has that vibe. Used to have a lot of fun down there and Electric Avenue picking up the weekly supply of fruit and vege - plantains, kumara, yams and squash that weren't available everywhere else.
One thing I learned in life is to love what makes you happy and to cherish every moment you spend with your family, friends or love ones because everything that we have now on earth is temporary. Well, thank you for inspiring us with your great art work. Visit my site for a very wonderful offer.
Life is a battle, if you don't know how to defend yourself then you'll end up being a loser. So, better take any challenges as your stepping stone to become a better person. Have fun, explore and make a lot of memories.
