Lunch at the Edible Bus Stop

I made a return journey to the Edible Bus Stop today, three months after the first time I drew there prior to its official opening in May.  The beds are now filled with courgettes, tomatoes, leafy greens and herbs, towered over by bright sunflowers.  The volunteers behind the garden have created a great little urban area for everybody to enjoy - while I was there several people came and sat down to eat their lunches, make a ‘phone call or just chat to friends.

The Edible Garden website has more information about the project and about exciting future plans.  Take a look at http://www.theediblebusstop.org/
